Members of our 1st U.S.S.S. Co. "C" unit also do an impression for the Spanish - American (Span - Am) War. We do this mainly for 2 different "Time Line" events -The Old Fort MacArthur Days and for Marching thru History.
We have the Spanish forces and the Cubanos loyal to Spain and we have Rough Riders and the Cubanos fighting for the American forces. The Fort Mac Arthur event is always the first weekend after the 4th of July and the Marching thru History event is usually the first weekend of October.
This means we are doing "double duty" at the events but we have fun doing it.
